Dedicated server configurator
Set world, difficulty, ports and mods – you get a start file, the matching setting.xml values, modconfig.xml for StationeersLaunchPad and a checklist. Every setting name comes from the game code of version 0.2.6428.
Stays on your computer
Everything is generated in your browser. Server name, password and secret are not sent to stationeers.de and not stored. Unofficial fan tool, not made by RocketWerkz. Results are hints without guarantee. Disclaimer

Save as start-server.bat in the server folder and double-click it. It starts the world or loads the station’s newest save.
Save as start.sh in the server folder and make it executable with chmod +x start.sh. The server console needs a terminal – for example tmux, as in the systemd part.
Save as /etc/systemd/system/stationeers.service, then run systemctl daemon-reload and systemctl enable --now stationeers. The server runs in a tmux session (tmux attach -t stationeers); on stop the service sends save first, then quit.
Start the server once and end it with quit – then setting.xml is in the server folder. Replace these lines there. Values from the start file overwrite them on the next start.
Put it next to the server exe. Each entry points to a mod folder under mods.
On Linux, after the first start set this line in the [Internal] section of BepInEx/config/stationeers.launchpad.cfg. It makes StationeersLaunchPad read the Linux paths of XML mod data correctly.
Step by step from an empty folder to the first join.
The same values as a single line, for example for a hosting panel with start parameters.
Good to know
- The server does not save when it quits. Always type save before quit or before stopping the service.
- Only the UDP GamePort must be open to the outside, default 27016.
- Without players the server pauses as long as AutoPauseServer is on.
- With mods, the server and every player need the same mods in the same versions – LaunchPadBooster checks this on join.
- StationeersLaunchPad sends the mod list to joining players as a pack (ShareModList) when every mod has a WorkshopHandle.
