Mod remover
Finds every mod object in the save and cleanly removes the mods you pick – including contents, networks, references and extra files.
Tools · Save game
A mod is gone and the world no longer loads? The save broke after a crash? You want to know what slows your station down? These four tools open your .save file right in the browser, show what is inside and, if needed, create a new, edited copy.
Runs only in your browser
Your save is not uploaded. It is read and processed on your device; the page sends no data from it anywhere.

Finds every mod object in the save and cleanly removes the mods you pick – including contents, networks, references and extra files.
Checks for typical damage: duplicate IDs, broken references, NaN values, truncated files, missing required files. Repairs what can be repaired safely.
Change world name, difficulty, names, stack sizes and gas fillings. Every change is logged and can be undone.
Counts objects, loose items, networks and atmospheres, draws charts and tells you what costs performance – with a text for a support ticket.
A .save file is a ZIP archive. When loading, the game extracts it into a temporary folder and then reads the individual files:
world_meta.xml
Header data for the load menu: world ID, game version, save time, days passed, counters.
world.xml
The actual world as XML: every object (each with ReferenceId, PrefabName and save type), rooms, pipe and cable networks, atmospheres, weather and terrain checksums.
terrain.dat
The modified terrain (digging, drilling) in binary form. The tools never change this file.
