How it is calculated
structure: kits per structure plus the material of the further build steps (sheets, cable …)
part: recipe of the lowest printer tier, the listed ingots per print
ores from the furnace recipes: per ingot the share of each reagent, superalloys 4 units per ingot
The ores are an estimate from the mixing ratios. How many ores exactly go into the furnace so the ratio works out is shown by the furnace calculator. Tools such as the welding torch are not consumed while building and are missing here. Which structures a kit builds and how many kits they use comes from the prefab data and has not yet been spot-checked in game.

A printer reaches tier 2 with the matching printer mod: print time × 0.66, energy × 1.1. Parts marked “tier 2” can only be printed after that. Energy in J as in the game, spread over the print time.
