Members: who is online? Oct 13, 2026
The members page now shows at the top who is aboard: members, team, newcomers and who is online right now – guests and signed-in members counted separately.
- Overview: Community → Members now shows the number of members at the top, how many of them are team, the newcomers of the last seven days and the newest member.
- Online now: Anyone active in the last five minutes counts as online – split into signed-in members (including team) and guests. Bots and search engines are not counted.
- Who is online? Signed-in members see the names, the team is marked. If you have switched off your online status in the community settings or your profile is not visible to someone, you only appear as “+ 1 hidden”.
- In the forum too: The “Aboard” box in the forum shows the same numbers, now also for guests.
- Privacy: Guests are counted without cookies, neither IP addresses nor visited pages are stored. The privacy policy has been updated accordingly.

Stay signed in works again, bell fixed on phones Oct 11, 2026
With “Stay signed in” you are no longer signed out in between. The bell and account menu open on screen again on phones, and the header fits every screen.
- Stay signed in (30 days): For security, your session gets a new ID every 30 minutes. If a second request was running at that exact moment – the bell check or a second tab, for example – the browser got an empty session back and you were signed out. You then had to enter your password and confirmation code again. The old ID now stays valid for two more minutes until all running requests are done. You stay signed in.
- Bell on phones: Notifications and the account menu opened off the right edge of the screen. Both now appear as a panel right below the header.
- Header on desktop: At window widths between 1000 and 1440 pixels the header stuck out on the right after signing in, and your account button was not visible. At these widths the site name and button labels are now hidden, and every button stays reachable.
If you were signed out recently: sign in once with “Stay signed in” ticked, and the session lasts up to 30 days.

New Climate category and English links that stay English Oct 9, 2026
Six new mods are listed, climate devices have their own category, and English pages now only link to English pages.
- Six new mods: Air Conditioning, Fluix Line, RTG, Pipe Cooler, Extreme Cable and Power Cable+ – each with a wiki guide, FAQ and cover image.
- Climate category: Air Conditioning and Pipe Cooler now have their own filter in the mod list.
- English links: Some English guides linked to the German version of a page, and the language switched. Internal links now always lead to the page in your language.

Smoother page changes and a fixed header Oct 7, 2026
Pages now fade softly into each other, the header stays put while scrolling, and images appear without jumping.
- Page changes: Instead of the wipe effect, content now fades softly and briefly comes into focus. The header and the starfield stay still – no more flicker.
- Header: It stays visible at the top while scrolling, so search, the bell and messages are always within reach.
- Images: They fade in gently once loaded instead of popping up.
- Preview texts: Short descriptions in search results and lists are cleaner – no leftover asterisks or brackets, and negative numbers such as “-5 degrees” are kept.
- Security: Additional checks for links and notifications.
If “reduce motion” is enabled in your system settings, you still get no transitions at all.
