Updated terms: buying expert credits
New version 2026-10-21b of the terms: rules for buying expert credits with withdrawal instructions, details of the operator and the chatbot’s three tiers. Objections until 4 Nov 2026.
I have updated the terms once more (version 2026-10-21b). The reason is that you can now buy additional tasks for the chatbot’s IC10 expert. What is new:
Expert credits (§ 7d)
- You can buy additional tasks for the IC10 expert in packages, paid once via PayPal, without a subscription. All prices are final prices; as a small business I do not charge VAT (§ 19 of the German VAT Act).
- Your contract partner is Einsatzleiter 112, owner Dominik Burg – all details are in the imprint.
- The credits are digital content and are added right after payment. When buying, you tick a required box to agree that the credits are added immediately and confirm that your right of withdrawal expires as a result (§ 356 (5) German Civil Code). The withdrawal instructions with a model form are part of § 7d.
- Purchased credits do not expire over time. They are not paid out and not refunded; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- If an expert answer stops because of a technical error, you get the task back. If I discontinue the IC10 expert permanently or terminate your account myself, unused credits are refunded pro rata.
- After a permanent ban for serious or repeated violations there is no right to a refund; statutory rights remain unaffected. If you delete your account, unused credits are forfeited without replacement – the site warns you beforehand.
Operator and chatbot (§ 1, § 7c)
- stationeers.de remains a fan and modding project and is free to use. I run it as a small business under the business name “Einsatzleiter 112”; only expert credits cost money.
- § 7c now describes the chatbot’s three tiers: instant answers without AI, the standard tier and the IC10 expert. There are still 30 AI questions per day and three free expert tasks per month.
- § 2, § 3, § 8 (liability for purchases) and § 9 have been amended accordingly.
The new sections 22b and 22c of the privacy policy explain which data is stored when you buy, how PayPal is involved and how long I have to keep orders and invoices for tax reasons. The imprint and the disclaimer have been updated as well.
What you need to do: for buying expert credits, gallery uploads, certificates, team applications, new wishes and the chatbot the site asks once for your consent to the new version – even if you have already accepted version 2026-10-21. One click is enough; the notice is shown at the top of the page. Everything else keeps working without consent. If you do not object by 4 Nov 2026, the new version also applies to all other features from then on (§ 11). You can object informally via the contact page.
