Updated terms: consent for the new features
The terms of use have new sections for the gallery, wishes, roadmap, team, academy and tools. Four features need your consent once.
With the new features I revised the terms (version 19 Oct 2026). New among others:
- Gallery “Base of the Month”: own screenshots only, one vote per month, review before publication (§ 5a).
- Mod wishes and roadmap: wishes only for mods that do not exist on the Steam Workshop yet; new wishes may be paused at times, the roadmap is not binding (§ 5b).
- Badges and team: voluntary, from age 16, no entitlement (§ 6b, § 6c).
- Browser tools: save game tools, log analyzer and server configurator at your own risk, back up first; mods remain available only on the Steam Workshop (§ 6, § 7).
- IC10 academy: certificates without official recognition, revocation for abuse (§ 7b).
- Support: tickets now require an account (§ 3).
- Liability: unlimited for gross negligence, explicitly including lost saves (§ 8).
What you need to do: gallery uploads, certificates, team applications and new wishes ask for your consent once – one click, the notice is at the top of the page. Everything else keeps working without it. If you do not object by 3 Nov 2026, the new version also applies to the other features from then on (§ 11). A short note via the contact page is enough to object. The privacy policy has been updated as well; it needs no consent.
