Chatbot: more reliable connection and precise error messages
The chatbot now finds the server certificates by itself and reports connection problems with the exact reason. Setting it up comes with a connection check.
A small follow-up for the new chatbot:
- More reliable connection: if PHP on a server does not know its own list of trusted certificates, the chatbot now looks for it in the usual places of the system by itself.
- Precise error messages: if the connection fails, the log now shows the actual reason – such as name resolution, firewall, timeout or certificate – instead of a general hint.
- Connection check: setting it up comes with a check that shows step by step whether the server reaches the service. It needs no key and costs nothing.
- Key test fixed: the test of the access key now shows the exact message of the service for every answer instead of stopping on unknown answers.
Nothing changes for you. No conversation content is stored in the process.
