Team: code of conduct with confidentiality and consequences of breaches
The team code of conduct now explicitly covers the handling of user data – and what happens if it is breached.
Team members may see tickets, reports and user data. To keep that data protected, the code of conduct has been extended:
- Confidentiality of user data: team members use personal data only for their task at hand and only as instructed – also after leaving the team.
- Consequences of breaches: breaching the code ends the collaboration along with roles, permissions and badges. For breaches of confidentiality, especially passing on or misusing user data, I reserve the right to a contractual penalty whose amount is set after review by a lawyer, as well as damages, legal action and a criminal complaint.
- The confirmation of the code is stored together with its version. The privacy policy explains which information may go to whom in case of a breach.
Nothing changes for anyone who simply uses the site.
