Review 12 min Week 14

What you learn today

  • Quiz on lbns, ss, sbs and batch traps

This week was about batch instructions in detail. For review:

  • lbns reads a slot on all devices with matching type and name. Order: hash, name, slot, SlotType, mode.
  • ss / sbs write to slots. Only On, Open and Lock are writable, and only in matching slots (helmet, tool, appliance, gas canister). ss needs a device, there is no sbns.
  • Count counts devices by type and ignores the name, even with lbn. By name you count via lbn … PrefabHash Sum divided by the hash.
  • Minimum returns 0 without a match, Maximum −infinity, Average NaN. Only NaN is caught by snan. You check −infinity with Count or seq … ninf.
  • Names: type and name form the address. The same name on different types does no harm. ASCII only, one define per name.

You pass from 60 %, the explanations appear after handing in.
