Overview
IC Housing (Compact) (StructureCircuitHousingCompact) in Stationeers: device, hash 2037291645, 50 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection…
The compact IC housing does the same job as the IC Housing: it takes an Integrated Circuit (IC10) and runs its program. The difference is the port. Instead of separate sockets for data and power it has one shared port – a single cable is enough.
You build it from the same Kit (IC Housing) as the large housing. It takes one cell in the 0.5 m grid and also draws 50 W. This form has been in the game since the big update in September 2025.
Nothing changes for the program; according to the game data both housings are the same device class with the same logic values. db is the housing itself, Setting appears on its display, Mode switches between number (0) and text (1). LineNumber and Error help with troubleshooting.
According to the game data the compact housing is flammable: auto-ignition from 573 K. On hot worlds it therefore belongs in a cooled room.
How housing, chip and computer come together is explained in IC10: your first chip.

Example: address by name
Reads Setting, shows the value on the IC housing and writes On. Name the device with the labeller first; devices with the same name are addressed together.
