Overview
Hydroponics Station (StructureHydroponicsStation) in Stationeers: device, hash 1441767298, 100 W, 5 L. With build steps, 74 IC10 logic values and connection…
The hydroponics station is a ready-made growing module: water through a liquid pipe, power and data through their own ports, and the light is built in. The Greenhouse planner counts four plant places per station.
Because the light is built in, it shines as long as the station has power. Plants also need darkness, though – a potato, for example, 200 s per day according to the game data. So switch the station off via On for the dark phase – with IC10, if you like following a Daylight Sensor, which reports Activate 1 in sunlight. At 100 W base draw that saves power as well.
For chips the station is rich in data: per slot you can read Growth, Health, Mature, Seeding, MaturityRatio and SeedingRatio, and it measures pressure, temperature and gas ratios of its small 5-litre interior. With lbns and the slot number a program can tell when a plant is ripe or carries seeds.
The electronics printer makes the kit from 5 gold, 20 copper and 10 steel. The station occupies 3 × 3 × 3 cells of the small grid and is taken down with the hand drill. How to set light and room climate is explained in Hydroponics and planters: setup and automation.
