Overview
Logic Sorter (StructureLogicSorter) in Stationeers: device, hash 873418029, 5 W. With build steps, 13 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The logic sorter looks like the Sorter and has the same connections: one chute input, two chute outputs and a shared power and data port. The slots are the same too (import, export, export 2). But it draws only 5 W instead of 50 W.
The difference is in how it is operated. It has no Output logic value. Instead it has its own memory with 32 places (StackSize), into which a chip writes rules once – with put on its ReferenceId. After that it sorts on its own, even if the chip does nothing more.
Every rule is a number: the lowest byte is the instruction from the SorterInstruction. namespace, above it sit comparison and value. It can check the prefab hash (equal or not equal), the sorting class, the slot type and the stack quantity. A place holding 0 is skipped. Mode decides how the rules combine:
| Mode | Name | to export 2 if … |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | All | all rules match |
| 1 | Any | at least one rule matches |
| 2 | None | no rule matches |
Everything else goes to export – also when the memory is completely empty. Old rules stay until you overwrite them or clear the memory with clrd. How to build the numbers is shown step by step in the IC10 Academy: logic sorter.
Also readable are ImportCount, ExportCount, On, Lock and Error. The game has no German name for it. Both sorters are built from the Kit (Sorter) and taken down with the hand drill. More in Sorters, stackers and chute valves with logic.

Example: address by name
Reads On, shows the value on the IC housing and writes Mode. Name the device with the labeller first; devices with the same name are addressed together.
