Overview
Stacker (StructureStacker) in Stationeers: device, hash -2020231820, 50 W. With build steps, 15 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The stacker sits in a chute line and combines identical items into stacks. That saves space in storage and in every chute, because a chute piece holds exactly one item – single piece or full stack alike.
It has three slots: import, export and a processing slot in which the stack grows. Plus a chute input, a chute output and a shared port for power and data. Base draw is 50 W.
There are two modes: Automatic (0) works on its own, Logic (1) leaves the decision to a chip. Writable are Mode, Setting, Activate and Output; readable are, among others, ImportCount and ExportCount. Through the slot values of slot 2 (Quantity, MaxQuantity) a chip sees how full the stack currently is.
A worked example: according to the game data iron ore stacks up to 50. A line carrying 50 single pieces occupies 50 chute places; after the stacker it is just one.
The autolathe makes the Kit (Stacker) from 10 iron and 2 copper. The same kit also builds the reversed variant and the Unloader. It is taken down with the hand drill. More in Sorters, stackers and chute valves with logic.
