Overview
Unloader (StructureUnloader) in Stationeers: device, hash 750118160, 50 W. With build steps, 13 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The unloader is built from the same Kit (Stacker) as the Stacker. It has an import and an export slot, a chute input, a chute output and a shared port for power and data. Base draw is 50 W.
It empties containers that arrive through the chute – a crate, for example. In Automatic mode (0) it takes out the content of the first occupied slot tick by tick and sends it on. Once the container is empty, the container itself follows. An item without slots passes through unchanged.
In Logic mode (1) it waits for the writable value Output. Output 1 takes one item out of the container, Output 0 sends the container on with its content. After that Output jumps to −1 and it waits for the next command. That way a chip can, for example, empty only certain crates and let others pass. Unlike the stacker it has neither Setting nor Activate. Readable are ImportCount, ExportCount, Power and Error, plus the slot values of both slots.
Its counterpart is the Loader ("Loader"): it fills items into a container.
The autolathe makes the kit from 10 iron and 2 copper. The unloader occupies two cells on top of each other and is taken down with the hand drill. How stacker, unloader and sorter work together is shown in Sorters, stackers and chute valves with logic.
