Updated terms: new rules for team work
The section on team work (§ 6c) has been rewritten: from age 18, with the completed IC10 academy, an aptitude test, a code of conduct, probation and two-factor sign-in.
I have rewritten the section on team work in the terms (version 20 Oct 2026). Everything else stays as it has been since the change on 19 Oct 2026.
- Minimum age 18: you can apply from age 18 instead of 16. Your account must be at least 14 days old with a confirmed email address; a Steam profile and a Discord name are required.
- IC10 academy: the IC10 academy must be completed in full – all 365 days, all four level exams and the final certificate.
- Timed aptitude test: before sending, you take a test with a general part plus one part per chosen area. Every question has a time limit; per question the answer, answer time, window switches and paste attempts are stored. A part is passed from 80 %, areas you do not pass are locked for 30 days.
- No right to be accepted: even a passed test and the completed academy do not entitle you to join the team. An application can be declined without giving reasons.
- Code of conduct: confidentiality about tickets, reports and user data, no sharing with third parties, a friendly tone, no self-promotion, reporting conflicts of interest and using team permissions only for team tasks.
- Probation and two-factor sign-in: the first 30 days after joining are probation, the “Crew” badge comes afterwards. Team permissions only work with two-factor sign-in switched on.
What you need to do: team applications, gallery uploads, certificates and new wishes ask for your consent to the new version once – one click, the notice is at the top of the page. Everything else keeps working without it. If you do not object by 3 Nov 2026, the new version also applies to the other features from then on (§ 11). A short note via the contact page is enough to object. The privacy policy has been updated as well; it needs no consent. The German text of the terms is the legally binding one.
