Privacy policy and disclaimer: notes on server mods
With Admin Interface one of my mods stores player data for the first time – on the operator's server, not with me. The legal texts now say so too.
The new Admin Interface keeps player logs, tickets and warnings on game servers and can connect to Discord. To make clear who is responsible for this data, I have added to two legal texts:
- Privacy policy: my mods send no data to me or to stationeers.de by themselves. What a mod stores on a game server stays there. The server's operator is responsible for it; questions as well as requests for access and deletion go to them.
- Disclaimer: the operator decides on and is responsible for how rights, bans, anticheat, passwords and a Discord connection are set up. Anticheat findings are hints and can be false alarms.
Nothing changes for visitors of the website.
