Overview
Chute Valve (StructureChuteValve) in Stationeers: structure, hash 434875271. With build steps and connection diagram.
The chute valve sits in a chute line between an input and an output. Like every simple chute part it has a transport slot for one item. It needs no power and has no logic values – so a chip can neither read nor switch it.
For anything that should happen automatically you therefore use the digital variant: Chute Digital Valve Left and its right-hand counterpart have power and data ports and open and close via Open.
The simple valve is built from one basic chute kit (3 iron). You need the wrench to take it down. It occupies one cell in the small grid.
Related simple parts from the same kit are the overflow and the flip-flop splitter, both with one input and two outputs, and the junction with two inputs and one output. How these parts work together is shown in Chutes and logistics: basics, inputs and outputs.
