Overview
Liquid Volume Pump (StructureLiquidVolumePump) in Stationeers: device, hash -454028979, 200 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The liquid volume pump is the counterpart of the Volume Pump for liquid lines. Every tick it takes the set volume from the input and pushes it to the output. The setting runs from 0 to 10, default 5, and the direction is fixed. Power and data share one port; base draw is 200 W.
Expect lower limits than with gas: a liquid pipe holds at most 6,079.5 kPa, a tenth of a gas pipe, and each piece holds 20 litres.
The most important trap: the pressure in a liquid line tells you almost nothing about how full it is. The game first counts only the pressure of the gas in the remaining volume. Only when the liquid fills nearly everything – more than the network volume minus 0.1 litres – does liquid pressure count, and it jumps all at once. In a 200-litre network that is about 20,000 kPa, far beyond the limit. The pipe bursts.
So switch the pump off by fill level, not by pressure. A Liquid Pipe Analyzer gives VolumeOfLiquid and Volume; their ratio is the fill level. Stopping at 90 % leaves enough room. A ready-made program is in Pipes and lines: gas, liquid, insulated.
In IC10 you switch it with On and set the amount with Setting. If you need more throughput or both directions, use the Turbo Volume Pump (Liquid).
