Overview
Volume Pump (StructureVolumePump) in Stationeers: device, hash -321403609, 200 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
Every tick the volume pump takes the set volume of gas from the network at its input and pushes it into the network at its output – even when the output already holds more pressure. Use it to fill tanks, empty rooms or separate two pipe networks.
The setting ranges from 0 to 10 and is 5 by default. How much gas that is depends on the input: at 100 kPa and 20 °C the full setting moves about 0.41 mol per tick, at 1,000 kPa ten times as much. That is why the pump slows down as the input network empties.
The direction cannot be switched. If you need more throughput or both directions, use the Turbo Volume Pump (Gas) (setting up to 100, 600 W).
In IC10 you switch it with On and set the amount with Setting. You do not read the target pressure at the tank: today's in-line tanks such as the Small Tank have no logic. A Pipe Analyzer on the tank line reports Pressure for the whole network. A complete example that fills a tank up to a target pressure is in the article The volume pump in depth.

Reads Setting, shows the value on the IC housing and writes On. Name the device with the labeller first; devices with the same name are addressed together.
