Logistics
Large cargo lift in 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 with barriers and call boxes – carries players, crates, rovers and vehicles smoothly, up to 64 m high.

A lift for everything that does not fit in your backpack: the Cargo Lift moves players, loose items, crates, the rover and vehicles from other mods between levels. It comes in three sizes – 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 large grid with 4, 6 and 8 m per side, each with its own 3D model. The platform travels smoothly, without bouncing or falling through, also in low gravity.
Setup
Controls and safety: CALL on the call box, UP/DOWN, GATE and E-STOP on the console; several calls are served one after another. The barriers close before every trip. Overhanging load, overload and obstacles in the shaft stop the lift, and on power loss it brakes and holds – it never falls. It draws 40 to 80 W on standby and 1.5 to 4 kW plus lifting power while travelling; with a heavy load it travels slower instead of drawing more.
IC10 and console: target level, speed, barrier, mode, lock, load and state via Setting, ElevatorSpeed, Open, Mode, Lock, Mass, Idle, Error and more, plus 14 values via get and the console command cargolift (or frachtaufzug). Labels, displays and device names appear in German or English, depending on the game language. The server and all players need the mod, and it runs on dedicated servers too.

Console in both languages (output in the game language, English commands cargolift, help, load, go, reset, measure). IC10: Activate = 1 continues to the target set last, Activate = 0 also cancels a trip that has not started yet. Lock locks the console, call boxes and main switch, E-STOP stays usable, displays show LOCKED. get 13 = remembered IC10 target. Short guide states the segment limit (32, configurable).
First release: cargo lift in 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 with drive, stackable shaft segments, landing barriers with call boxes, platform with console and e-stop; carries players, crates, rovers and vehicles; IC10, console command frachtaufzug, paintable.
Before every trip the drive checks that everything is clear and shows the reason on the console, call box and control cabinet. The most common ones are BARRIER BLOCKED – something stands in the barrier at the landing or at the platform edge –, LOAD OVERHANGS when something reaches beyond the railing, and OBSTACLE ABOVE when a wall or floor sits inside the shaft; so build walls from the outside. The buttons refuse with a hint when the main switch is OFF, power is missing, E-STOP is pressed or the lift is locked via IC10 (Lock). What exactly is in the way is shown in the tooltip on the shaft under "Cause", and cargolift load in the console lists the load. As soon as the cause is gone, it starts by itself. More in the guide.
Every shaft segment is 2 m high and one level, the drive at the bottom is level 0; up to 32 segments fit above one drive. Stops are wherever a piece has a barrier – pick the variant with the mouse wheel on the kit: one barrier at the front, two (front and back) or none. If no piece at all has a barrier, every level is a stop. Segments must face the same way as the drive or be turned by 180° (C + mouse wheel); turned by 180°, their barrier is at the back. UP/DOWN on the console and CALL only go to stops, while IC10 (Setting) or cargolift go reach any level. More in the guide.
Yes, the Rover Mk I (2.72 × 3.58 m) already fits the 2x2: the barrier is 3.34 m wide, the platform 3.82 m inside. Drive it in lengthwise through the barrier and park it so that nothing sticks out over the railing – otherwise the lift reports LOAD OVERHANGS and stays put. The rover rides along whether you sit in it or not; in multiplayer it is moved by the machine of whoever is driving it. With 20 kg of physics mass it is far below the 2000 kg load limit.
