Modular Consoles 1.0.1 and Control Station 1.0.1
Desks, cabinet, control desk and terminal stand now stand at the right height – the character only sees from about one metre.
In the game, console desks and control desk were far too high: you saw the desk surface almost only from its edge. The reason is in the game files. The character's camera sits only about 1 m above the floor, not at 1.6 m like a human's. Both mods are now sized for that.
- Modular Consoles 1.0.1: the flat and the sloped desk start at 0.55 m at the front, the sloped one reaches 0.87 m. The cabinet is 1.75 m high, its module field lies between 0.34 and 1.54 m. Modules from older saves are kept and move to their slot in the lowered field.
konsole statusshows how many were matched that way. - Control Station 1.0.1: desk top with keyboard at 0.55 m, instrument panel with main switch and IC10 slots right behind it, the three large screens centred at 1.14 m. The control desk is now only 1.64 m tall instead of 2.2 m. The terminal stand goes from 0.55 to 0.83 m. The English Stationpedia now calls the Leistungsregler Power Regulator.
