What you learn today
- Quiz on the first week
- Master numbers and limits
Seven days, six topics – today you check what stuck. The weekly quiz covers everything you have learned since day 1:
- Chip and housing: pins
d0–d5, the housing itself asdb, the data cable. - Registers and numbers:
r0–r15, hex with$, binary with%, the dot as decimal point, no exponents. - Math: target first, then the values. Kelvin instead of Celsius.
- From the browser into the game: where code is written and how it gets onto the chip.
- Comments and limits: 128 lines, 4096 characters, 90 characters per line – and everything counts.
You pass from 60 %. After handing in you see a short explanation for every question. Read them for the correct answers too – sometimes they contain a detail the lesson only touched on.
Tip
For math questions the IC10 coder helps: type the line, let the simulator run one tick, read the register.
