Overview

Cable Coil (Heavy) (ItemCableCoilHeavy) in Stationeers: kit, hash 2060134443, stack 50. With recipe.

With this coil you lay Heavy Cable (Straight), which carries up to 100,000 W and practically does not burn. It stacks up to 50. The shapes are the same as for normal cable: straight pieces and corners cost one coil, junctions two to three, the straight 10-piece seven.

It is made only in the electronics printer. According to the recycling data it contains gold besides copper – budget the gold when you lay long main lines:

Go to “Cable Coil (Heavy)”

When heavy cable pays off:

  • at every generator above 5,000 W, such as the solid fuel generator (20,000 W);
  • at wind farms, because a large turbine delivers up to 20,000 W in a storm;
  • between large solar arrays and batteries, because a charging battery takes the whole solar output;
  • as the main line from which branches of normal cable leave through transformers.

The large satellite dish also needs the heavy coil as building material. For even more power there is the Cable Coil (Super Heavy) with 500,000 W. Wire cutters remove heavy cable and give you the coils back. More in Sizing cables, fuses and transformers correctly.
