The composite window brings light and a view into a base. Like a wall it sits on one face of the large 2 m grid and is made from the same Kit (Wall) as the Composite Wall (Type 1).
It is built in three steps: place the kit, insert a plastic sheet, then a glass sheet. When deconstructing you take glass and plastic out with the crowbar, the rest with the angle grinder.
The pressure limit is what matters: according to the game data the window only holds a 200 kPa difference, the composite wall next to it 300 kPa. That makes the window the weakest part of the wall, and it sets the limit for the whole room. From 160 kPa it counts as stressed.
A worked example on a world without atmosphere: at 101 kPa in the room the window carries about 51 % of its limit – no problem. Pump the same room up to 180 kPa and it is 90 %. A safe upper limit against vacuum is 150 kPa.
If you need windows in a high-pressure room, use the Reinforced Window (Composite) with 8,000 kPa. According to the game data the composite window is flammable, auto-ignition from 573 K. More about walls and windows is in Building: frames, walls, windows, floors, grid.
