Overview

Liquid Tank Small (StructureLiquidTankSmall) in Stationeers: device, hash 1988118157, 10 W, 6,000 L. With build steps, 72 IC10 logic values and connection…

The small liquid tank holds 6,000 litres and connects to a liquid line. The same maximum applies as for liquid pipes: 6,079.5 kPa. In this old version it has a data port, a 10 W base draw and reports, among others, Pressure, Temperature, TotalMoles, Volume and VolumeOfLiquid.

Since version 0.2.6143 the Kit (Liquid Tank) builds the Liquid Tank Small – the same size, but part of the pipe network and without logic of its own. Five kits make the large version with 50,000 litres. You will only find the version on this page in older saves.

How much that is: according to the game data water takes up 0.018 litres per mole. So 6,000 litres of water are about 333,000 mol – enough for 4,000 water bottles of 1.5 litres each.

Liquid follows a different fill rule than gas. The pressure only shows something shortly before brim-full and then jumps past the limit at once. So measure the fill level: VolumeOfLiquid divided by Volume, directly on this tank or, for the in-line tank, through a Liquid Pipe Analyzer. Stop at about 90 %.

According to the game data the tank is flammable (flash point 373.15 K). On cold worlds keep the freezing point in mind: water solidifies at 273.15 K. More in Tanks and gas storage: sizes, insulation, safe filling and Pipes and lines: gas, liquid, insulated.
