Overview
Pipe Analyzer (StructurePipeAnalysizer) in Stationeers: device, hash 435685051, 5 W. With build steps, 43 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The pipe analyzer is placed directly on a gas pipe and measures the whole network that pipe belongs to. In the game the prefab name really is spelled “Analysizer” – stick to that in IC10; the hash is 435685051.
Readable values include:
Pressure,TemperatureandTotalMoles,Volume– the volume of the network in litres,- the fraction of each gas, such as
RatioOxygenorRatioMethane(that is Volatiles), VolumeOfLiquid, in case liquid collects in the pipe.
You can write On and Lock. It has a shared port for power and data and needs 5 W.
Since tanks became part of the pipe network, it matters twice as much: an in-line tank such as the Small Tank has no logic of its own. The only way to see how full it is goes through an analyzer on the same network. With Volume and TotalMoles you can even fill by amount instead of pressure. An example: the network reports 6,100 litres. For 40,000 kPa at 20 °C you need n = 40,000 · 6,100 / (8.3144 · 293.15) ≈ 100,100 mol. That number stays right even if the gas warms up later.
One analyzer per network is enough. Give it a name and read it via lbn with batch mode 0. For room air there is the Gas Sensor, for liquid the Liquid Pipe Analyzer. A program for filling by moles is in Tanks and gas storage: sizes, insulation, safe filling.
