Exploration 1.1.0: twelve new sites, trading posts, the LERCHE expedition, locks and hazards
The biggest update for Exploration so far: twelve new sites with rarity, eight logbooks of a lost expedition, locks, hazards, events, search devices and inhabited trading posts where you pay with the game's credit card. On top, World Map 1.1.0 shows discovered sites and fog.

The biggest update for Exploration so far turns the treasure hunt into an expedition. Saves from 1.0.0 keep loading, the server and all players need the new version.
- Twelve new sites with their own models: a satellite crash in its own crater with exposed ore, an abandoned drilling station, a research lab, a rover wreck you can repair into a real rover, a buried capsule only the ground scanner finds, the main wreck LERCHE and one site of its own per planet – smelter hut on Vulcan, ice core drill on Europa, weather balloon on Venus, relay mast on Mars, regolith harvester on the Moon and telescope dome on Mimas. They are all listed under All sites.
- Rarity: sites are common, rare or legendary. Mast, flashing lamp and beep show it in orange, blue or purple – the rarer, the farther out and the better stocked. More under Rarity.
- The LERCHE expedition: eight logbooks tell the story of a lost survey crew. Find them all to decode where their ship lies and get to the vault. More under The LERCHE expedition.
- Locks and hazards: number locks whose code lies in another site, dead battery doors and welded hatches. Plus radiation – in the real radiation system with the Nuclear Power Plant –, gas leaks and collapsing roofs. A warning post tells you what to expect.
- Events and search devices: live supply drops with smoke trails and distress calls with a 30-minute countdown liven up multiplayer. The radio direction finder and the ground scanner from the electronics printer help you search.
- Trading posts: inhabited, lit landing pads with terminals, five trader types and rotating offers. You pay with the game's credit card, just like at the trader ships. The trader buys salvage, and with rising reputation prices get better. More under Trading posts.
- Rewards: blueprints unlock catalytic filters and the expedition flag in the printers. On top come trophies, a finder's reward with the Banking System and a cargo lander that becomes an outpost with a pressurised cabin and backup power once repaired.
World Map 1.1.0 now works together with Exploration: the big map and the minimap show every discovered site in its rarity colour – faded once it is looted, with a lock when it is locked and with a red ring while a distress call is running. Trading posts and the main wreck have their own symbols. Unexplored areas lie under a fog that clears wherever players have been. Both can be switched off with ErkundungAnzeigen and NebelAnzeigen. Without Exploration the map stays exactly as before, neither mod requires the other. More under With Exploration.
