Deep Well
Drills like the deep miner, then delivers polluted water automatically – as liquid into a pipe or as ice into a chute, depending on the planet.

Mining
Abandoned landers, wrecks and ruins with loot out in the terrain – no tracker, found only by their beacon and flashing lamp.

A reason to take the rover out: all over the map lie abandoned landers, wrecks and ruins with a little loot – usually half a crate, sometimes a portable tank with a filling you cannot get otherwise. No tracker, no map marker: you find them by eye, by the beeping emergency beacon up close and by the flashing lamp at night. Looted sites disappear after a while and a new one appears elsewhere.
Sites
Loot: provisions, electronics, tools, building materials and raw materials depending on the site, plus trader goods such as foreign seeds, catalytic filters and superalloys. Tanks hold ozone, helium, heliox, hydrogen, polluted water or alcohol – and rarely an explosive or toxic mixture, marked by a warning sticker, the name and the paint.
There is nothing to build, sites appear by themselves, existing saves included. Count, loot, distances, hearing range and flashing lamp are configurable. Labels, tooltips and device names appear in German or English, depending on the game language. The server and all players need the mod, and it runs on dedicated servers too.

First release: supply pod, cargo lander, lander wreck, outpost ruin and station debris with loot, emergency beacon with beeping and flashing lamp, rare and dangerous tank fillings with a warning sticker, respawn.
With your eyes and ears: a site is drawn up to 300 m away, and its orange-and-white signal mast sticks out over hilltops. From up to 50 m you hear the emergency beacon beep twice, from its direction – in vacuum too, it is a radio signal in your helmet. At night and in storms the red lamp flashes, visible up to 400 m. Sites are at least 300 m away from your base, so a rover round trip pays off. More in the guide.
It had a dangerous filling – shown by the yellow warning sticker, the name and the red paint. By the game's rules H2 + N2O and Volatiles + N2O self-ignite above 50 °C, Volatiles + O3 and H2 + O3 above 150 °C. At the site the tank is shielded. Take it somewhere warm – Venus, Vulcan, next to a furnace – and it warms up, ignites and bursts. Store such tanks somewhere cool or vent them right at the site.

The deep miner drills for ice too, with freely configurable types and amounts.
