Steam Power 1.1.1 and Power Engineering 1.1.2: quieter generators, distributor charges again
Many generators could still be heard 50 m away. Now it is quiet after 15 or 20 m – and the power distributor takes power on unlimited cables again.
A player with 44 steam generators could still hear them 50 m above the ground. The reason: the fan the generators take over from the game's gas generator never fully fades – Unity keeps it at about 3 % volume beyond its range. Many devices together add up to a clear hum.
- Steam Power 1.1.1: generator, drill and tank can now only be heard up to 15 m, silent beyond that. The running sound is a bit quieter. New settings:
HoerweiteM(5 to 60 m) andLautstaerkeProzent(0 = mute). - Power Engineering 1.1.2: generators and distributor can now only be heard up to 20 m.
- Power Engineering 1.1.1: if a cable without a limit (Power Cable+ or Fluix "Unlimited") was on a distributor input, the input took no power and the storage did not charge. Fixed. New console command
strom eingangshows all inputs of the nearest distributor in detail.
The Nuclear Power Plant got the limited range as well (25 m) – alarms and sirens still carry far.
