What you learn today
- Quiz on edges, timers and sequences
This week was about time and states. For review:
- Memory: registers keep their value between ticks.
move last newat the end of a pass remembers the last value. - Edges:
sgt edge new lastis 1 for exactly one tick when a 0/1 signal jumps from 0 to 1. Compare first, then remember. - Button:
Activateis 1 for about 0.55 s. Toggle withxoronly on the edge, a lockout catches double presses. - Timers: 1 tick = 0.5 s. An on-delay counts up and drops back at 0, a run-on is charged and counts down.
sleepblocks the chip. - Sequences: the step number sits in a register, every block ends with a jump to the shared output.
- Interlock: read the state of the other door, one door gets priority, NaN counts as open,
Lockblocks manual use.
