What you learn today
- Level exam on months 1 to 3
- Beginner certificate
Thirteen weeks lie behind you: from the first move through jumps, select, define and alias, devices on the data network and batch modes to hysteresis, pumps, power, slots and state logic. Today you show that it stuck.
How the exam works
- 20 questions are drawn at random from a pool, and the order of the answers is shuffled.
- You have 40 minutes. The time starts when you open the page – reloading does not change the questions.
- You pass from 70 %. Afterwards you can issue your certificate under “My progress”.
- There are only a few attempts per day. After handing in you see which questions were wrong – the exam does not reveal the correct answers.
What is covered
| Area | Keywords |
|---|---|
| Basics | registers, numbers, math, Kelvin, limits |
| Flow | yield, sleep, labels, jumps, program end |
| Decisions | set instructions, select, and/or, min/max, rounding |
| Order | define, alias, constants, HASH, lbn/sbn |
| Data network | batch modes, NaN, names |
| Systems | hysteresis, pumps, lerp, power, slots, timers, interlocks |
You do not have to write code, but you do have to read it. Work it out in your head or on paper, line by line.
Good luck – and if it does not work out straight away: the lessons stay open, and tomorrow there are new attempts.
