Overview
Airlock (StructureAirlock) in Stationeers: device, hash -2105052344, 25 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The airlock is the door of an airlock – not the whole airlock. It sits on a wall face of the large 2 m grid and holds a 1,000 kPa pressure difference. That is five times an iron wall (200 kPa) and more than three times a composite wall (300 kPa).
It has separate ports for data and power and needs 25 W. In its logic you find:
Open– open (1) or close (0),Mode– 0 Operate, 1 Logic,Lock,OnandSettingfor writing,Idlefor reading.
According to the game code the airlock is a door like any other and behaves like one: in mode 0 (Operate) a click opens it directly. In mode 1 (Logic) a click only sets Setting as a request, and the controller then has to open it via Open. Idle is 1 while the door stands still – a chip can wait for that instead of sleeping for a fixed time.
A working airlock only comes together with more parts: two airlock doors, a chamber between them, an Active Vent to pump it empty and full, a Gas Sensor for the chamber pressure and a controller. A chamber of one cell (8,000 L) needs about 328 mol of air at 100 kPa and 20 °C. The active vent manages about 33 mol per tick, so a cycle takes at least ten ticks or five seconds.
Mind the chamber walls: the door holds 1,000 kPa, an iron wall next to it only 200 kPa. The weakest surface sets the limit.
It is built in three steps:
- place the Kit (Airlock),
- attach two steel sheets with the welding torch,
- insert two plastic sheets with the crowbar.
The kit is made by the Hydraulic Pipe Bender; two of them give the wide version, the Airlock Wide. A complete airlock program is in Building an airlock: layout, control, common mistakes.
