Overview
Station Battery (Large) (StructureBatteryLarge) in Stationeers: device, hash -1388288459. With build steps, 13 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The large station battery works like the Station Battery, but stores 9,000,001 J instead of 3,600,000 J. It carries a load of 1,000 W for 9,000 ticks, that is 75 minutes – the game shows joules per tick of 0.5 s as "W".
It has a power input for the generators, a power output for the consumers and a data port of its own. You read its level as with the small one through Ratio (0 to 1), Charge, Maximum and Mode (0 Empty to 6 Full). PowerPotential and PowerActual show offer and actual flow.
The same cable rule applies as for every game battery: at the input it requests its whole free capacity, at the output it offers its whole content. A Transformer (Large) therefore always belongs between two batteries, otherwise the cable burns. According to the game code it loses 10 J per tick like the small one, 50 J below 6.3 kPa of air pressure (vacuum, Mars outside air).
It is built in three stages: place the Kit (Battery Large) kit (tier 2 printer), attach four steel sheets with the welding torch, insert two electronic parts with the screwdriver. It occupies 2 × 4 × 2 small cells. Unlike the small battery it is flammable according to the game data, with a flash point of 100 °C – do not place it next to hot exhaust lines.
How many batteries your night needs is worked out in Batteries and storage: sizes, charging, discharging, a transformer in between.
