Overview

Blast Door (StructureBlastDoor) in Stationeers: device, hash 337416191, 25 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.

The blast door is a large protective door made of steel. In the German version its name is a word-for-word translation that suggests “radiation door”; the kit, the Kit (Blast Door), has the fitting name there. At about 3.4 m it is much wider than a normal door and, according to the game data, takes twelve cells of the small grid.

It draws 25 W and has separate ports for data and power. According to the game data it belongs to the same device class as the Airlock and has the same logic values: Open, Lock, Mode (Operate 0, Logic 1), On, Setting and the read-only Idle. Unlike most doors it can be rotated around every axis when you build it.

The kit comes from the Autolathe, but only from the second tier, and uses a lot of steel. After that you insert three Steel Sheets twice – first with the welding torch, then with the crowbar. Deconstructing gives everything back.

Pressure: no pressure limit is set for the blast door, and according to the game code the pressure damage calculation skips exactly such parts. A pressure difference therefore does not damage the closed door, and it checks no pressure when opening – it opens against vacuum too if you open it. The walls next to it keep their own limits, though: the weakest face still decides what the room can take.

It is controlled like any other door. In Operate mode (0) a click opens it directly, in Logic mode (1) a click only sets Setting as a request for your chip. Idle is 1 while it stands still – with a door this big a good way to wait for the movement to finish. More in Controlling doors, gates and airlock doors.

Example: address by name

Reads Setting, shows the value on the IC housing and writes On. Name the device with the labeller first; devices with the same name are addressed together.

# Blast Door address by name
define DEVICE 337416191 # StructureBlastDoor
define NAME HASH("Blast Door") # name in game (labeller)
define TARGET 1 # On 1 = on
alias value r0
