Overview
Composite Door (StructureCompositeDoor) in Stationeers: device, hash -793837322, 10 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The composite door is the door that sits between two rooms in most bases. It fills one wall face in the large 2 m grid and, according to the game data, withstands a pressure difference of 300 kPa – exactly as much as the Composite Wall (Type 1) next to it. From 80 %, that is 240 kPa, it counts as stressed.
It draws 10 W and has separate ports for data and power. Both sit at the bottom of the door; the cable must lead right up to the door plane.
It is built in three steps: place the Kit (Door), insert a plastic sheet with the welding torch, then a glass sheet with the crowbar. The kit comes from the Autolathe and, as you choose, also builds the Glass Door, hatches and a roll cover.
With logic you open it through Open, lock it through Lock and read back through Open how it stands. Lock only blocks the hand; a chip can still open a locked door. Mode decides what a click on the door does:
Operate(0): the click opens or closes the door right away – provided it has power, is switched on and is not locked.Logic(1): the click does not move the door. It only setsSettingto 1 when the door is closed and to 0 when it is open – a request that your chip reads and then grants or refuses. When the chip moves the door throughOpen,Settingfollows again.
Idle is 1 while the door stands still and 0 while it is opening or closing. A chip uses it to wait until a door is really shut. Without power or switched off, only the crowbar opens it – but not while the door is locked.
According to the game data the door is flammable, but auto-ignition only starts at 873 K. How to interlock two doors into an airlock is shown in Controlling doors, gates and airlock doors.
