Overview
Transformer (Medium) (StructureTransformerMedium) in Stationeers: device, hash -1065725831, 10 W. With build steps, 11 IC10 logic values and connection…
The medium transformer lets at most 25,000 W from its input network into its output network – more precisely at most its Setting, and never more than is offered at the input. It needs 10 W itself.
What sets it apart are its ports: the input carries power only, the output power and data. A chip in the branch behind the transformer can therefore see it and set Setting and On itself. On the Transformer (Small) it is exactly the other way round. With input and output on swapped sides there is a reversed version of the medium transformer.
That makes it suited to branches that monitor themselves: transformer, IC housing and a Cable Analyzer in the same branch, and the chip shows how much of the setting is in use. The program is in Sizing cables, fuses and transformers correctly.
A fresh transformer passes nothing until Setting is turned up – according to the game data in steps of 100 W, finely in 10 W.
It is built from three Kit (Transformer Small) in one step – the same kit the small transformer needs only one of. It occupies 1 × 2 × 1 small cells. For more than 25,000 W take the Transformer (Large) with 50,000 W.

Example: address by name
Reads Setting, shows the value on the IC housing and writes On. Name the device with the labeller first; devices with the same name are addressed together.
