Overview
Cable Analyzer (StructureCableAnalysizer) in Stationeers: device, hash 1036015121. With build steps, 6 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The cable analyzer sits on a cable piece and measures the whole network that cable belongs to. It needs no power and has a data port. It provides three values:
| Logic value | Meaning |
|---|---|
PowerPotential | what all generators on the network offer |
PowerRequired | what all consumers on the network request |
PowerActual | what actually flows – the smaller of the two |
That answers the two most important questions about a network:
- Is it supplied? Only if
PowerPotentialis greater thanPowerRequired. Exactly equal already counts as too little, and then all normal consumers switch off. - Does the cable hold?
PowerActualis the flow the game compares with the limit of every cable. On normal cable it has to stay below 5,000 W.
Put it on the consumer network behind the battery output. On the network with the battery inputs, charging batteries request their whole free capacity, and PowerRequired no longer says anything about the consumers. Likewise, behind a battery output PowerPotential shows the whole battery content as offer.
In the game the prefab is called StructureCableAnalysizer – with the typo you need for define and the hash. Two ready programs use it: the remaining battery runtime in Batteries and storage: sizes, charging, discharging, a transformer in between and the load of a branch in Sizing cables, fuses and transformers correctly.
It is built in one step from the Kit (Cable Analyzer) and removed with the hand drill.
