Overview
Hardsuit (ItemHardSuit) in Stationeers: clothing, hash -1758310454, 10 L. With recipe and 63 IC10 logic values.
The Hardsuit keeps the three basic slots of the Eva Suit – air in slot 0, waste in slot 1, battery in slot 2. On top it adds a slot for a programmable chip (slot 3) and four instead of three filter slots (slots 4 to 7). Inside it also holds 10 litres, and its waste tank limit is 4,053 kPa as well.
The real gain is logic. The suit reports 63 values, among them internal pressure and temperature, PressureExternal, TemperatureExternal, every gas fraction, position and velocity. Writable are, among others, PressureSetting, TemperatureSetting, Filtration, AirRelease and SoundAlert. According to the game code PressureSetting is the target pressure of the suit air in kPa (default 101.325, 0 to 202.65 via the buttons) and TemperatureSetting the target temperature in kelvin (default 293.15 K, 0 to 60 °C via the buttons). AirRelease switches the air supply from the canister, Filtration the filtering into the waste tank. Via a chip the suit does not check these limits – stay within the button range. Through its slots a chip can also read pressure and temperature of both canisters (Pressure and Temperature on slots 0 and 1) and the battery charge (ChargeRatio on slot 2).
A chip in the suit addresses it as db, because the suit is its housing, and costs 2.5 J per tick from the battery. A ready-made program that plays a warning sound when the air canister is low, the waste tank is full or the battery is weak is in Breathing air in the suit: canisters, filters and waste tank.
According to the game data the Hardsuit does not burn. Convection and radiation have a factor of 0.062 instead of 0.205 – it exchanges much less heat with its surroundings. It is only made in the Tool Manufactory from tier 2; the recipe calls for steel and the superalloys Stellite and Astroloy. Matching pieces are the Hardsuit Helmet, the Hardsuit Backpack and the Hardsuit Jetpack.
