Overview
Eva Suit (ItemEvaSuit) in Stationeers: clothing, hash 1677018918, 10 L. With recipe.
The Eva Suit is what you start with, and you usually wear it for quite a while. Together with the Space Helmet it keeps your breathing air apart from the surroundings. The suit itself holds 10 litres of gas, the helmet 3 litres. Without a filled canister that reserve runs out quickly.
The six slots are fixed: slot 0 takes the air canister, slot 1 the waste canister, slot 2 the battery cell for life support, slots 3 to 5 one gas filter each. For the waste tank the suit has its own limit of 4,053 kPa. That is less than half of what a Canister can take – so swap the waste canister in good time.
The Eva Suit has no chip slot and exposes no logic values. If you want to watch pressure, gas fractions or the battery with IC10, you need the Hardsuit.
The game data show two weaknesses: the suit is flammable (flash point 120 °C, autoignition 300 °C), and it exchanges more heat with its surroundings than the Hardsuit. Convection and radiation have a factor of 0.205 for it and 0.062 for the Hardsuit. On Venus and Vulcan it is only a stopgap. According to the game code hard impacts also give it leaks, through which suit air and outside air mix. You patch them with Duct Tape; one roll is already in the starting kit.
How to fill the canister and filter slots is explained in Breathing air in the suit: canisters, filters and waste tank. All suits compared side by side are in Suit and equipment: what you wear on your body.
