Overview
Ore (Uranium) (ItemUraniumOre) in Stationeers: ore, hash -1516581844, stack 50. With recipe.
Uranium ore is the rarest ore in the game: weight 5 and always just 2 pieces per extraction. It only appears in the underground profile; you will not find it on the surface. Every piece contains 1 unit of uranium.
There is not much you can do with it at the moment. The recipe data of this version has neither a furnace nor an arc furnace recipe for uranium, and no printer uses it. The Centrifuge can turn uranium in a mixture back into uranium ore – that is all.
It gets dangerous in the furnace: every piece releases 35 mol of Pollutant when melting, more than any other ore. Ten pieces bring 350 mol, about 853 kPa of pollutant in a 1,000 litre furnace at 20 °C. So do not let uranium ore slip into the furnace through a chute by accident.
The Ore Detector has no mode for uranium. You rather stumble across it while digging underground. More about all ores in Ores and what they contain.
