Overview
Centrifuge (StructureCentrifuge) in Stationeers: device, hash 690945935, 100 W. With build steps, 12 IC10 logic values and connection diagram.
The centrifuge is the link between mixtures and the furnace. According to the recipe data it turns every base substance into the matching ore: iron into Ore (Iron), copper into copper ore and so on for gold, silver, lead, nickel, silicon, cobalt and uranium. Carbon becomes charcoal, hydrocarbon becomes coal, biomass stays biomass. It has no recipe for alloys.
Typical sources for its input:
- Dirty Ore from the Deep Miner,
- the output of the Recycler.
This is how it works: with the lid closed (Open 0) and switched on, it spins up – 0.5 RPM per tick up to 100 RPM, so a good 1.5 minutes – and breaks down one piece after another. At full speed a normal ore takes 3 s, dirty ore and reagent mix 18 s each. It collects the substances up to 400 units. It only outputs with the lid open (Open 1) and only once the drum has stopped, about 33 s after opening: one stack per substance as soon as a whole unit has gathered; fractions stay inside. Ores from the centrifuge no longer release gas in the furnace.
Connections: import and export slot, chute input and output, data and power. The base draw is 100 W. Readable are, among others, Reagents, ImportCount and ExportCount. How a chip controls the cycle with Open is practised in the academy lesson recycler and centrifuge.
The autolathe prints the kit from iron 20 and copper 5. It is built in three stages: kit, two steel sheets with the wrench, two more with the welding torch. More in Recycling and centrifuge: getting material back.
