Overview
Logic Transmitter (StructureLogicTransmitter) in Stationeers: device, hash -693235651, 50 W. With build steps and connection diagram.
The logic transmitter connects logic without a cable. It has three data ports and a power port and, according to the game data, draws 50 W – five times as much as a logic reader. It sticks out two small cells from the wall, so plan some room in front of it. You switch the mode on the transmitter itself; doing so resets the link and Setting. IC10 names the two modes TransmitterMode.Passive and TransmitterMode.Active.
Active(1) – sender. It offers aSettingof its own that you can read and write, and registers itself as a counterpart.Passive(0) – receiver. With the Screwdriver you link it to a counterpart; hold the C key to page backwards. From then on it mirrors that device: every value the device offers for reading can be read on the receiver, and whatever you write to the receiver ends up at the device.
Valid counterparts are other transmitters in Active mode, but also devices that register themselves as transmitters, among them the Hardsuit, Rover MkI, Laptop, Advanced Tablet, Survival Belt, AIMeE Bot and Microwave Power Receiver. The game code has no range check – the list holds every registered counterpart in the world.
Important for chips: the receiver needs its own power. Without power or without a link it reports no value as readable, and l, lb or lbn on it stop the chip with IncorrectLogicType. Written values are silently lost without power. That is also why the prefab page shows no logic values: a freshly built receiver is not linked to anything yet.
It is built from its own Kit (Logic Transmitter) in the Electronics Printer. Besides gold and copper the kit also needs electrum and silicon. For logic within one cable network the usual units from Logic without a chip: reader, writer, memory, compare, math are enough.
