Overview
Advanced Tablet (ItemAdvancedTablet) in Stationeers: tool, hash 1722785341. With recipe and 9 IC10 logic values.
The Advanced Tablet is the big version of the Handheld Tablet. Its four slots:
| Slot | takes |
|---|---|
| 0 | battery cell |
| 1 | cartridge |
| 2 | cartridge |
| 3 | programmable chip |
With two cartridges you no longer have to swap. A useful combination is the Cartridge (Atmos Analyzer) together with the Cartridge (Network Analyzer) – on one walk you check both air and networks. Only one cartridge is shown at a time, and that is exactly what Mode selects according to the game code: Mode0 shows the cartridge in slot 1, Mode1 the one in slot 2. The two buttons on the tablet cycle through them.
The logic is also richer than on the simple tablet: besides Power, Error and On there are Mode, Activate, Volume and SoundAlert to read and write. A chip in slot 3 addresses the tablet as db, because the tablet is its housing. That way it can trigger a sound via SoundAlert, for example.
So a chip can switch on its own too, for example with s db Mode 1 to the second cartridge.
For power, the tablet draws 20 J per tick (0.5 s) according to the game code while it is switched on, twice as much as the simple one. An inserted chip costs another 2.5 J per tick. A small Battery Cell (Small) is therefore empty after a little over 13 minutes, a Battery Cell (Large) lasts about 1 hour 45 minutes.
The recipe is expensive: the Electronics Printer needs tier 2 and a lot of gold, plus copper, iron, steel, electrum and solder. A comparison of all cartridges is in Tablet and cartridges: portable meters for air, networks and plants.
