Deep Well
Drills like the deep miner, then delivers polluted water automatically – as liquid into a pipe or as ice into a chute, depending on the planet.
Mining
Programmable mining robot with an ore scanner down to bedrock, three IC10 chips, a charging station with separate ore and ice storage, an ice melter and an overview map.

The wish came as a "Mining Turtle": a programmable robot that mines resources, brings them to the base, charges at a station and – with emergency batteries and a beacon – can be found even if it does not come back. Mining Robot builds exactly that on the AIMeE chassis.
The robot: its ore scanner searches below it down to bedrock and remembers every vein with sort, amount and depth. It drills from above like the Deep Miner – the terrain stays walkable, and further ores at the same borehole are faster. You choose everything, ores only, ice only or specific sorts, plus up to three priority sorts. It returns at 15 % main battery – or earlier when the way home is long. If the main battery still runs flat, it drives home on one of its three emergency batteries and sends a distress call.
Three IC10 chips run at the same time with the game's original interpreter: db is the robot, d0 its home station, batch instructions reach the station's data network by radio. A faulty chip flashes red and stops nothing else.
The charging station links exactly one robot, charges it, takes its load into separate stores – ore (8 slots) and cooled ice (6 slots) – and hands it to a silo, stacker or sorter through three chutes. Its ice melter sends every substance into its own pipe outlet; the mixing protection only melts when each resulting substance has a matching outlet. At the programming desk you send chips to the robot; with the IC10 link the computer edits the chip inside the robot directly.
Multiplayer: the server and all players need the mod. Every robot belongs to its builder.

Before you open a ticket: the problem may already be known – with status and workaround.
No known issues right now.

Report a bugFirst release: mining robot with ore scanner to bedrock, priority sorts, return at 15 % with way-home calculation, 3 emergency batteries and 3 IC10 chips; charging station with linking, separate ore/ice storage, cooling, chutes A/B/C, ice melter with mixing protection, programming desk and IC10 link; STORAGE/MAP/IC10 buttons, map of all robots, tracker, example scripts; console command roboter.
Fix: packing up with the hand drill now returns the Mining Robot kit – before, unpacking it gave a plain AIMeE because the robot had inherited the AIMeE's return setting. Batteries, chips and stored ore drop next to the robot when packing and the station link is released; unpacked it starts with a fresh program and name (the chips keep their code). Saves from 1.0.0 load unchanged; an AIMeE that was already created stays an AIMeE. Server and all players need 1.0.1.
Drills like the deep miner, then delivers polluted water automatically – as liquid into a pipe or as ice into a chute, depending on the planet.
Landers, wrecks, ruins and trading posts with loot, puzzles and hazards – no tracker, found only by beacon, flashing lamp and direction finder.
The deep miner drills for ice too, with freely configurable types and amounts.
