Overview
Handheld Tablet (ItemTablet) in Stationeers: tool, hash -229808600. With recipe and 5 IC10 logic values.
The Handheld Tablet on its own cannot do much. It has two slots: slot 0 for a battery cell and slot 1 for a cartridge. The cartridge decides what the tablet shows.
Three cartridges matter for everyday use, all from the Electronics Printer:
| Cartridge | for |
|---|---|
| Cartridge (Atmos Analyzer) | measuring the atmosphere, also in pipes and devices |
| Cartridge (Network Analyzer) | checking networks |
| Cartridge (Plant Analyser) | checking plants |
There are more, such as the colour ore scanner, tracker, configuration and the cartridge for the deep miner. You simply swap them in the slot – a collection in your backpack turns one tablet into many measuring devices.
The tablet runs on battery. According to the game code it draws 10 J per tick (0.5 s) while it is switched on – in your pocket too. A small Battery Cell (Small) with 36,000 J therefore lasts 3600 ticks, so 30 minutes of continuous use, a Battery Cell (Large) four hours. Switch it off after measuring. Through logic it reports Power and Error and can be switched with On.
For the recipe the printer needs gold, copper and solder. Solder is an alloy – so no furnace, no tablet. If you want to use two cartridges at once, take the Advanced Tablet with two cartridge slots and a chip slot.
Everything about the cartridges, and when a fixed sensor is the better choice, is in Tablet and cartridges: portable meters for air, networks and plants.
