Overview
Cartridge (Plant Analyser) (CartridgePlantAnalyser) in Stationeers: electronic part, hash 1101328282. With recipe.
The Plant Analyser is the third standard cartridge for the Handheld Tablet. You put it into the cartridge slot, or into one of the two slots of the Advanced Tablet. It is printed in the Electronics Printer at tier 1 from iron, gold and copper.
It is the tool for the question "why is this not growing?". Every plant has fixed living conditions in the game. For the potato, for example, the game data list:
| Condition | Value |
|---|---|
| growth temperature | centred on 25 °C |
| pressure | centred on 75 kPa |
| harmful gases | pollutant, volatiles, silanol from 1 kPa; hydrochloric acid, hydrazine from 0.1 kPa |
| growth to maturity | 3,001 s |
On top come rules for light and darkness per day. The potato also takes in carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen. Without water it takes damage after 1,800 s according to the data, with the wrong gas after 300 s.
With the cartridge you check a single planter: aim at it or hold the plant in your hand. According to the game code it then shows growth and breathing efficiency, the gases needed and the harmful ones, temperature and pressure efficiency with ideal range and current value, light efficiency, light intensity and light stress, a note each on whether light or darkness is lacking, and the water supply – all in percent. A dead plant is marked "Dead".
In the plant data, light and darkness per day carry "Invert". That concerns genetics: these values vary between 75 % and 125 % of the base value depending on the genes, and here a positive gene value lowers them instead of raising them. For the potato with 300 s of light per day that is 225 to 375 s. For a whole installation IC10 is worth it: the Hydroponics Station and the Automated Hydroponics expose slot values such as Growth, Health, Mature and Seeding.
The conditions of all plants are in the Plants overview, a greenhouse planner is at Greenhouse planner. All cartridges compared: Tablet and cartridges: portable meters for air, networks and plants.
