Overview
Ore (Copper) (ItemCopperOre) in Stationeers: ore, hash -707307845, stack 50. With recipe.
After iron, oxite and coal, copper ore is one of the more common ores: weight 40 in the underground profile, 3 or 4 pieces per extraction. Every piece contains 1 unit of copper.
You need copper almost everywhere electricity flows. According to the recipe data it appears in more than 200 recipes, most of them in the electronics printer. A single Cable Coil already costs 0.5 copper. As an alloy it becomes Ingot (Constantan) together with nickel, and it is one of the three ingredients of astroloy.
To an ingot: in the Arc Furnace it takes 3 s and 500 J per ingot. In the gas furnace copper melts from 600 K and 100 kPa. Every piece releases 0.5 mol of Nitrogen, 1 mol of Carbon Dioxide and 1 mol of Pollutant in the process.
