Overview
Tool Belt (ItemToolBelt) in Stationeers: clothing, hash -355127880. With recipe.
The Tool Belt sits in the character's belt slot and has eight slots of the tool type. That slot type decides what fits. Besides wrench, drill, welders, labeller and tablet, the game data also count cable coils and duct tape as tools.
A proven loadout for the start is exactly the set of tools that appear in the game's build steps:
- Welding Torch – build tool in 167 structures
- Screwdriver – build tool in 70 structures
- Wrench – building and deconstructing
- Crowbar – doors and deconstruction
- Hand Drill – the most common deconstruction tool
- Angle Grinder – deconstruction
- Wire Cutters – removing cables
- Labeller – naming devices
With these you cover every tool a build stage in the game requires. Memorise the order, and you reach for the right one without looking.
The Tool Belt MK II (tier 2) offers more room with 10 tool slots and 2 free slots. For special jobs there are the Mining Belt for ore, the Survival Belt with a chip and auto-injectors and the Electrical Belt with slots for cable supply. The Tool Belt itself only costs a little iron in the Tool Manufactory. What each tool is for is explained in Tools at a glance: which one you need for what.
